Hometown Children's Books and Two Week Linky

I'm linking up with Courtney from Ramona Recommends today for

I absolutely love reading local books, as kiddos can relate and share personal experiences they've had.  Here are some of the stories I read each year from The Land of Enchantment...

Joe Hayes is an amazing storyteller from Arizona.  He has visited our school to share his stories, and the kiddos are enchanted by his stories and presence.  Many of his stories are bilingual and multicultural...fantastic for teaching about the American Southwest!

And my favorite story by Joe Hayes.  If you haven't seen or read this one, it's a must!

I also love teaching about the Sonoran desert since I went to U of A {Bear Down}.
These are some of my favoritedesert reads...

And another favorite author of mine, Conrad Storad...

And for today...

Every day for the next two weeks I'm going to pick three items from TPT to feature!  Maybe yours will be one of them!

Here are some {animal} products that I love...
