I just ran into the dollar
store to buy a card for a friend, and grabbed a few items for school.
I can't seem
to ever leave Target, Hobby Lobby, the dollar store, or any store for that
matter without grabbing something for school.
The man behind me in line
asked if I was a teacher when he saw the items I had in my hands.
He then
proceeded to buy the items for me.
I started crying, gave him a hug, and told him
I would pass this act of kindness on. I’m truly humbled.
Tomorrow I'm
going to share this story with my class and their families and challenge them
to do something kind for someone else. I'd
like to challenge you to do the same.
It could be as simple as
taking carts in at the store, offering to mow a neighbors lawn, taking handmade
cards to the hospital, calling someone, making cookies for a friend, or
spending some time volunteering in a nursing home or animal humane society. I
want to hear your story.
Please comment
below about what you're doing and then make sure to enter the raffle.
That's all you have to do. I'll
end the giveaway on October 14th (my birthday).
My wish for my
birthday is that these acts of kindness continue to be passed on endlessly.
Please share with friends and
family. You
don't have to be a teacher
to enter; you just have to do a kind deed for someone else. I can’t wait to
read about all of your RAKs.
